Poem by Carolyn Pearson
I love this poem!
God Speaks
Death is ugly?Oh, my children,No.If you knewThe beautyThat begins whereYour sight failsYou would runRun, runAnd leapWith open armsInto eternity. But sadIs a harvestof green wheat.AndSo you wouldFeverishlyCling to earthAnd finishYour mortal taskI merely gaveDeathAn ugly mask.-Carol Lynn Pearson
